John E. Taylor is CEO & Founder of JT Diversity Solutions, LLC and a Member of Gonzales Financial Consulting, LLC. John recently retired from Delphi Automotive with 40 years of Supply Chain Management experience, specializing in Purchasing, Supplier Quality and Supplier Diversity Development.

 

While at Delphi he led the multiple award winning Delphi Supplier Diversity Development process that amassed more than $8 billion in spending working with hundreds of Value driven Minority, Women owned and Veteran owned Business Enterprises.

 

John has been actively engaged in the Diversity space since 2002 from Local to Regional, National and International. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council and the Great Lakes Women’s Business Enterprise Council. Additionally, he served in key Leadership roles such as chairing the NMSDC - Manufactures Industry Group and an inaugural member of WBENC Automotive Industry Group. 

 

John is currently serving as Treasurer for the Council of Supplier Diversity Professionals (CSDP), a member of the Board for the North Oakland YMCA and a member of the Board of Directors for The National Veterans Business Development Council and the NABS Scholarship Fund.

 

John has received numerous awards and recognitions for his professional work with the Diversity Councils and various Chambers of Commerce.

 

John has a Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University of Rochester, Michigan. John is a graduate of the Pontiac Motor College of Manufacturing Management. John and his wife Janet have been married for 33 years and they have a daughter Jordan a graduate of Oakland University and a son John Norman an Entrepreneur. John is a devoted member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where he serves as a Deacon.

 

John Strives to advocate, promote, mentor and  connect  Diverse  businesses to  opportunities. He also endeavors to enhance the educational and social growth of our youth.
